Area Supervisor – Retail Store Leadership

About the role

The Area Supervisor is a key member of the store leadership team, responsible for overseeing a designated area of the store and ensuring smooth overall operations. This role involves opening and closing the store, supervising associates, and creating a friendly shopping environment that encourages customers to return.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the store, managing cash handling and security procedures.
• Supervise and coach store associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain proper merchandise presentation and ensure a clean, organized work area.
• Enforce safety protocols, monitor the sales floor for hazards, and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Control building security, including entry/exit, electronic article surveillance, and armored carrier pickups.
• Manage emergency procedures, fire alarm testing, and ensure clear egress routes.
• Execute company operational processes as required.
