Area Manager – Floor Operations (Fashion & Retail)

About the role

The Area Manager – Floor leads the day‑to‑day operations for fashion, import, jewelry, returns and related departments across multiple locations. You will drive performance, ensure safety and quality standards, and foster a culture of belonging while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers and associates, both verbally and in writing.
• Implement the business plan for the assigned area by setting goals, managing staffing, scheduling and workload distribution.
• Monitor productivity through regular review and analysis of business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on logistics policies and ensuring compliance.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer or supplier concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Supervise, develop and coach associates and leaders, handling hiring, promotions, performance feedback and training needs.
• Promote an inclusive, high‑performing team environment that respects individual differences.
• Act with integrity, uphold ethical standards and support Walmart’s sustainability initiatives.
• Make data‑driven decisions that balance short‑ and long‑term priorities while keeping the customer first.

Required profile
