Architectural Designer I

About the role

Perkins Eastman is seeking an Architectural Designer I to join its global design team. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to moderate‑size projects, turning conceptual ideas into detailed drawings, plans and visual presentations while working closely with senior architects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and translate them into drawings, 3‑D models and presentation materials.
• Create schematic proposals, layouts and detailed plans using Revit or comparable digital tools.
• Produce hand sketches, diagrams and iterative models to explore design options.
• Conduct planning and occupancy studies and assist in preparing project specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams during design reviews and client presentations.

Required profile

• Passion for innovative architectural solutions and strong visual communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on design tasks while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Critical thinking and analytical reasoning applied to design evaluation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit or similar BIM software.
