Architects – Entry, Mid & Senior Levels – Chicago

About the role

Pappageorge Haymes Partners is seeking architects at entry, mid and senior levels to join its growing Chicago office. You will work on a variety of projects—from multifamily residential to mixed‑use and hospitality—contributing across all design phases and building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in conceptual design and support every project phase from schematic design to construction completion.
• Perform design, planning, occupancy and layout analyses.
• Develop technical design solutions that meet client and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants during schematic design, design development and construction documentation.
• Conduct construction administration duties, including site observations, observation reports, and responses to RFIs and submittals.
• Assist with marketing efforts and presentations to prospective clients as needed.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less‑experienced architects.

Required profile

• Completed a five‑year architecture degree or a Master’s in Architecture.
• Licensed architect or on the path to licensure.
• Professional experience welcomed at any level; experience in multifamily residential projects is preferred.
• Understanding of zoning and building code regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• BIM modeling experience.
• Strong technical and graphic design skills.
• Knowledge of building materials, systems, specifications, codes and construction techniques.
