Apprenticeship Program Manager – State of Georgia

About the role

The Apprenticeship Program Manager leads the development and execution of apprenticeship initiatives for the Technical College System of Georgia, supporting workforce development across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage registered apprenticeship programs (RAPs) and pre‑apprenticeship programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal apprenticeship regulations, state laws, and standards.
• Oversee statewide apprenticeship service delivery and support business engagement.
• Represent Georgia as the primary point of contact for companies interested in new apprenticeship programs.
• Provide presentations and policy research to stakeholders, including the State Workforce Development Board.
• Assist in the State’s effort to become a State Apprenticeship Agency, supporting policy development and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of related experience in workforce development or apprenticeship program management.
• Preferred graduate degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of Registered Apprenticeship Programs, the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA), and the National Apprenticeship Act.
• Experience with business, industry, and community engagement, public speaking, and project/program management.
