Applications Specialist – Court Information Systems

About the role
The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking an Applications Specialist to join its Court Information Systems Division. In this full‑time position you will provide functional support for the suite of applications used by Arkansas state courts, helping users resolve issues, understand processes and adopt best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Document and analyse court business processes, identify gaps and provide information to support training and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain standardized system documentation and workflow illustrations for court users.
- Recommend best business practices and assist with system configuration and security settings.
- Provide application support through phone, email and in‑person assistance, including troubleshooting, logging incidents and tracking resolutions.
- Deliver classroom and one‑on‑one training on court applications.
- Participate in testing activities such as functional testing, data verification, regression testing and product enhancement evaluation.
- Assist courts with accounting issues, report generation and other ad‑hoc requests.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and at least two years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Arkansas court systems and the use of technology in judicial applications.
- Ability to interact professionally with elected officials, court staff and other state agencies.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
