Application Developer – Remote (6+ month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our team on a 6+ month contract. This fully remote position works on EST or CST hours and focuses on building and maintaining high‑quality web and mobile applications for a variety of business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable code for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues promptly.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Support, enhance, and maintain existing applications and system integrations.
• Develop and document ETL processes.
• Gather business requirements and contribute across the full development lifecycle.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to keep applications competitive.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Swift.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
• Hands‑on experience with the Microsoft .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, VB.NET).
• Understanding of service‑oriented architecture (SOA) and application integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience developing ETL processes.
