Application Developer – Manufacturing IT (Level III)

About the role

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Application Developer to design, build, and maintain manufacturing‑focused software solutions. The role combines .NET development with hands‑on integration of industrial equipment, supporting the company’s mission to automate and optimize business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support manufacturing applications using .NET technologies (VB.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET).
• Write and optimize advanced T‑SQL queries and database objects.
• Support and enhance Wonderware applications and related manufacturing systems.
• Integrate PLC data and other equipment interfaces into software solutions.
• Manage projects from concept through implementation and post‑production support.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and IT teams to improve processes and system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong .NET development background, especially with VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET.
• Advanced T‑SQL programming skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Wonderware software.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of PLC data.
• U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship).
