Application Developer

About the role

Spaghetti Bridge is seeking an experienced Application Developer to design, build, and maintain critical internal systems that support its network of specialist schools across the UK. You will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, helping the organisation improve operational efficiency and drive long‑term digital innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal software applications.
• Analyse business requirements and produce clear technical specifications.
• Write clean, scalable code and manage the full software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify technical solutions to business challenges.
• Support database development, reporting, and data analysis.
• Participate in regular agile releases and provide technical guidance to teammates.

Required profile

• Strong experience developing commercial or enterprise applications.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to gather requirements and design solutions collaboratively.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• JavaScript and modern development practices.
• SQL / PSQL and database design or data modelling.
• C#.NET, Delphi, VB, or low‑code platforms.
• SQL Server or Supabase.
• User interface design and usability principles.
• Dashboard, reporting, and data visualisation development.
