Apartment Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Essential Staffing Solutions is seeking a hands‑on Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at an apartment community. You will ensure units are turned efficiently, oversee daily repairs, and support overall property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Train, coach, and supervise the maintenance staff.
• Manage the make‑ready board and coordinate unit turn processes.
• Create, track, and close work orders and purchase orders using Yardi, OneSite, or similar software.
• Coordinate vendors, monitor maintenance budgets, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain property safety, curb appeal, and timely repairs.
• Report directly to the Property Manager.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of experience supervising apartment maintenance teams.
• EPA and HVAC certifications (CPO or CAMT a plus).
• Proficiency with Yardi/OneSite software.
• Ability to perform physical maintenance duties as needed.
• Valid IDs and successful background check.
