Analytic Tradecraft Specialist

About the role

Amentum is seeking Analytic Tradecraft Specialists to support an Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Intelligence Cycle Management Directorate (N2) contract in Suitland, MD. The role evaluates finished intelligence products against IC Analytic Tradecraft Standards and helps the Government improve the rigor of its evaluation methods.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate a sampling of finished intelligence products, including cyber intelligence products, for compliance with IC Analytic Tradecraft Standards and the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203 series.
• Develop metrics, present findings and offer recommendations to the Government for improvement.
• Develop and implement self-assessment measures to minimize subjective variation in the data collected.
• Identify strengths, weaknesses, trends, gaps and other notable features of analytic tradecraft in the evaluated products.
• Help the Government improve the rigor of its evaluation methods and the integrity of the evaluation process.
• Support the delivery of tradecraft evaluation training and help develop tradecraft policy and analytic guidance.

Required profile

• Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
• Ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience.
• Preferred: in-depth knowledge of ICD 203 gained through experience as a senior analyst with a formal role in the review chain for ICD 203 products at a strategic all-source IC agency, or as a full-time product evaluator at ODNIE.
