Analyst - Investments (Real Estate Development)

About the role

This analyst position supports a fast‑growing development team that is scaling a $1.5B+ industrial pipeline across Texas and Oklahoma. It is designed for an early‑career professional eager to learn real‑estate development by working directly with principals and a senior associate in a lean, coaching‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Excel‑based financial models, pro formas, and cash‑flow projections for active development deals.
• Assist in due‑diligence coordination for land acquisitions, construction loans, and asset dispositions, and help prepare financing packages.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities, assess feasibility, and maintain lease and sales‑comps databases for Texas and Oklahoma markets.
• Track project milestones across acquisition, entitlement, permitting, and construction, flagging outstanding items.
• Prepare regular project status summaries, draft documentation, and ensure all materials are organized and current.
• Collaborate closely with the Sr. Associate and principals, taking ownership of assigned workstreams and communicating progress.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in real‑estate development, investment, private equity, brokerage, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills with experience building and navigating financial models.
• Solid understanding of real‑estate investment fundamentals, returns, cash flows, and development economics.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with detail‑oriented organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
