Analyst – Customer Performance (BRAM Investigator)

About the role

The Analyst, Customer Performance (BRAM Investigator) supports Mastercard’s Brand Performance team by safeguarding the integrity of the brand and ensuring compliance with Mastercard rules and standards. You will investigate potential rule violations, analyse fraud trends, and develop solutions that enhance ecosystem health.

Key responsibilities

• Preserve Mastercard brand integrity by monitoring customer performance against Mastercard Rules and Standards.
• Conduct investigations related to illegal activity and rule violations, documenting findings clearly.
• Resolve cross‑business inquiries and recommend practical solutions for potential violations.
• Identify performance issues, design resolution processes, and coordinate with impacted groups.
• Analyse fraud trends, collaborate with stakeholders, and create action plans.
• Provide training and support to internal and external partners to raise awareness of Mastercard standards.
• Develop and implement new processes to improve performance program initiatives.

Required profile

• Knowledge of electronic payment processing and experience in risk‑management disciplines.
• Proven investigative experience with strong documentation and storytelling abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and critical‑thinking skills; able to multitask and follow multi‑step processes.
• Self‑motivated, independent problem‑solver with effective time‑management.
• High level of tact, integrity, and comfort handling confidential data and communicating with senior stakeholders.
