Analysis Manager – Lead Multidisciplinary Engineering Team

About the role

Zeno Power is seeking an Analysis Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and nuclear analysts supporting the development of Radioisotope Power Systems. The role combines technical oversight with people management to ensure high‑quality analysis deliverables for mission‑critical programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, guidance, and oversight to a team of structural, thermal, and nuclear analysts.
• Review and give feedback on analysis work, maintaining strong engineering standards while balancing program schedules.
• Manage workload and resource allocation across multiple projects, aligning priorities with program and company needs.
• Support professional development of team members through coaching, feedback, and performance conversations.
• Partner with mechanical design, systems engineering, materials, and program management to integrate analysis efforts.
• Serve as technical escalation point, guiding analysis approaches, assumptions, and modeling strategies.
• Identify, implement, and continuously improve analysis workflows, tools, documentation, and knowledge‑sharing practices.
• Communicate progress, technical risks, and resource needs to senior leadership and represent the team in cross‑functional discussions.

Required profile

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Nuclear Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience in mechanical, thermal, structural, or nuclear analysis.
• 3+ years of management experience leading technical teams.
• Experience working under AS9100, NQA‑1 or similar quality standards.
• Proven ability to identify technical risks, define bounding cases, and guide teams to defensible solutions.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) expertise.
• Structural, thermal and nuclear analysis methods.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and NQA‑1 quality standards.
