Alcohol Compliance Representative

About the role

Legends Global is hiring an Alcohol Compliance Representative for its venue, the PNC Bank Arts Center. Working under the direction of management, the representative ensures responsible service of alcohol throughout the building in line with state and company policies, assists staff with alcohol-related issues, observes and documents them, helps with alcohol cut-off and monitors employees' adherence to the Legends Alcohol Policy. The pay rate is $18 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the serving of alcohol by game day staff and make sure staff follows the alcohol service policy.
• Observe and document all alcohol-related issues or violations.
• Assist with alcohol cut-off and perform other duties assigned by management.
• Complete inventory at assigned locations.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area and provide guests with personal service and attention to detail.
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the venue.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations, and complete company-wide and job-specific safety training.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast-paced environment; some alcohol compliance experience preferred.
• Proactive, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize, work under pressure and adapt to change.
• Punctual, dependable and able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
• Ability to walk long distances, stand for long periods, and to stand, kneel, lift up to 30 pounds, carry items, push carts, walk fast and bend down.
• Well-groomed appearance and good personal hygiene.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials and services offered.
• Knowledge of the venue layout and the assigned area.
• Ability to interact with guests and staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
