Aircraft Technician A - Electrical Backshop

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Aircraft Electrical Technician A to join the Backshop team in Columbus, Mississippi. You will work on the build‑up and fabrication of electrical harnesses and components used on helicopters such as the UH‑72A Lakota and H‑125.

Key responsibilities

• Apply basic techniques and procedures of electrical installation.
• Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams and standards for wire‑harness fabrication.
• Lay‑in route wires on form boards, tie, lace and apply anti‑chaff protection.
• Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains and electronic components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc.).
• Lay‑in harnesses and complete terminations on aircraft.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret detailed electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Familiarity with aerospace electrical standards and safety procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
