Aircraft Manager I – Production & Flight Test

About the role

Airbus is seeking an Aircraft Manager I to oversee the management of assigned aircraft throughout the production and flight‑test phases until handover to the delivery centre. The role involves analysing and steering issues that arise during assembly, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the folio of assigned aircraft from assembly through flight test to delivery.
• Identify, document and track non‑conformities, customer findings and flight‑line issues.
• Initiate and monitor action plans to resolve critical points and ensure closure of issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and production teams to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documentation and follow‑up.
