Air Logistics Driver

About the role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will safely transport a variety of shipments—including medicines, toys and machine parts—while ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in compliance with all transportation, safety and security regulations.
• Pick up, transport and deliver shipments between customers, vendors, airlines and company locations.
• Load and unload freight, handling each shipment safely and accurately.
• Verify shipment information against documentation and maintain accurate manifests, run sheets and delivery records.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, keep the vehicle clean and ready for operation.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding shipment status, route updates and any operational issues.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company requirements.
• Strong communication, customer‑service and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lb, work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• Dangerous Goods (DG) certification (or ability to obtain).
• Operation of material handling equipment.
