About the role

Join Central Georgia Technical College as an Air Conditioning Technology Instructor, delivering associate‑level instruction to students in classroom, lab, and online environments while supporting program development and accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide associate‑level instruction in air‑conditioning technology, preparing syllabi and lesson plans.
• Develop program goals and objectives and ensure alignment with accreditation standards.
• Assess student progress through testing, grading, and maintaining accurate records.
• Mentor adjunct faculty and serve as lead instructor when required.
• Travel to multiple campus sites, including dual‑enrollment locations, and deliver face‑to‑face or distance instruction.

Required profile

• Earned technical certificate of credit or higher in air‑conditioning technology or a related field, or equivalent certification/licensure.
• At least one year of full‑time relevant work experience (or documented teaching experience for preferred candidates).
• All required transcripts, resume, and supporting documentation uploaded to the CGTC applicant portal.
• Ability to teach all phases of the curriculum and use appropriate teaching techniques.
