Air Conditioning Technology Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a full‑time Air Conditioning Technology Instructor to join Chattahoochee Technical College. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Transportation, Logistics and Building Services and the Dean of Business and Technical Studies, you will prepare students for careers in the air‑conditioning industry.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, labs, and instructional activities for the Air Conditioning Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) and/or Diploma program.
• Advise and mentor students, evaluate their progress, and maintain required documentation.
• Set up and take down laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with college administration to align curriculum with Technical College System of Georgia guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Air Conditioning from a technical or community college.
• Two years of industry experience or relevant training and certifications preferred.
• Associate Degree in a related field is a plus.
• State of Georgia Conditioned Air license preferred.
