Air Advisor Instructor / SME – Mobility Support Squadron

About the role

The Air Advisor Instruction / Mobility Support Advisor Squadron (MSAS) Instructor/SME provides expert instruction and educational leadership for USAF and DoD personnel. This position shapes curriculum, delivers cross‑cultural teaching, and ensures continuous improvement of mobility support advisor training.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and deliver curriculum and courseware in accordance with USAF EOS policy.
• Provide instruction on National Security Strategy, DoD regulations, irregular warfare, and related subjects.
• Prepare classrooms, manage academic equipment, and ensure all training materials are current and available.
• Conduct lesson delivery, student evaluations, and maintain satisfactory instructor performance ratings.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert, offering technical support, planning, and consultation for instructional areas.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Extensive military advisory experience (e.g., Military Advisor, FAO, PRT, attaché, or equivalent).
• Completion of Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy, or equivalent.
• Valid passport and driver’s license.
