AI Prompt & Policy Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an AI Prompt & Policy Specialist to design, evaluate, and improve AI‑driven interactions with tools, APIs, and users across multiple locales. You will work at the intersection of prompt engineering, policy design, and safety, ensuring workflows are accurate, compliant, and user‑friendly.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review, and refine prompts and instructions for AI systems that interact with external services such as Slack, PayPal, and similar platforms.
• Read and interpret API/JSON schemas to verify correct parameter usage and tool behavior.
• Apply basic SQL queries to validate data, perform checks, and support analysis of AI or tool performance.
• Create, document, and maintain policies governing AI interactions, content handling, and workflow execution.
• Develop detailed workflow knowledge for specific tools and encode it into prompts and policies.
• Ensure safety and compliance by applying content‑filtering guidelines and detecting unsafe outputs.
• Evaluate AI responses for critical‑reasoning quality, parameter correctness, and policy adherence.
• Support multilingual use cases by validating prompts and responses across multiple locales.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and safety teams to iterate on prompts, policies, and workflows.
• Document edge cases, decision rationales, and recommendations with clear written communication.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in AI operations, content review, QA, product operations, policy, or technical support.
• Strong API/JSON literacy: ability to read schemas, understand arguments, and verify correct usage.
• Basic SQL skills for simple queries and data validation.
• Demonstrated critical‑reasoning ability and attention to safety and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for multilingual contexts.
