AI Engineer Manager – Commercial Technology & Innovation

About the role

As an AI Engineer Manager within PwC’s Advisory practice, you will transform raw data into actionable insights and drive AI‑enabled business growth. You will lead the design, development and deployment of scalable machine‑learning solutions while mentoring a team of data professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI systems that convert raw data into business‑critical insights.
• Lead teams to develop scalable machine‑learning models and data pipelines.
• Apply advanced data‑wrangling techniques to support AI model deployment.
• Develop AI software using Python and C++ and leverage libraries such as TensorFlow and Scikit‑Learn.
• Manage data infrastructure, integration, and quality to ensure accessibility.
• Oversee budgeting, planning, execution and delivery of AI projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI‑driven innovation opportunities.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preferably studied Analytics/Data Science, AI/Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
• Relevant certifications in data engineering, machine learning or cloud platforms are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and C++ for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with machine‑learning libraries such as TensorFlow and Scikit‑Learn.
• Strong data‑wrangling and pipeline development capabilities.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and data‑engineered solutions (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Ability to design, deploy and maintain AI and ML solutions at scale.
