About the role

Infosys is seeking an AI Engineer to join its Engineering unit in Basking Ridge, NJ. The role focuses on developing AI‑driven software solutions, supporting the full software development lifecycle, and ensuring high‑quality delivery of intelligent applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, capture software specifications, and create process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new AI‑enabled applications according to detailed design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyse results, report defects and support software performance enhancements.
• Integrate new features into existing systems, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolve issues promptly, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to enrich the team’s knowledge base.
