Aerospace Ground Equipment (GSE) Worker

About the role

AOC Global Services is hiring a full-time Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) worker at Nellis Air Force Base. The worker conducts daily servicing and dispatch operations for aircraft ground equipment, including fuel, oil, coolant, water, hydraulic fluid and air, and operates, cleans, inspects and services vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Service equipment with fuel, oil, coolant, water, hydraulic fluid and air, and operate, clean, inspect and service vehicles
• Manage and inspect AGE sub-pools in accordance with established standards, and report changes to AGE minimum equipment levels
• Assist with troubleshooting vehicles and equipment, and perform minor maintenance such as changing batteries, tires, belts and hoses
• Prepare AGE for storage and mobility deployment when required
• Store, handle, use and dispose of hazardous materials and waste according to environmental standards
• Perform periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections, and complete forms and enter maintenance actions into the MIS system
• Follow technical guidance from managers, supervisors and lead technicians, and carry out housekeeping and vehicle cleaning within 100 feet of the work area

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years performing USAF or sister-service fighter AGE GSE or vehicle support equipment functions
• High school diploma or GED; mathematics skills desirable
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English and interpret technical data and operating instructions
• Willingness to deploy to support off-station requirements
• Physical capability to perform all duties, including climbing, standing, bending, kneeling and walking
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher) and a government driver's license if required
• Must pass the color vision test if controlled movement area access is required
