Aerospace Engineer – MRO Composite Facility

About the role

GA Telesis is seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join its MRO Composite facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. You will be a key member of the engineering team, responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and performance of aircraft components undergoing maintenance and repair.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections, failure analysis, and root‑cause investigations on aircraft components.
• Conduct technical analyses to identify issues and develop comprehensive repair and overhaul solutions.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to create and implement innovative component improvements.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with FAA/EASA regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Prepare thorough technical reports and maintain accurate engineering documentation for audits.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to meet or exceed industry standards.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance shop efficiency.
• Coordinate with technicians, inspectors, and project managers to ensure seamless MRO execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in MRO environments (preferred).
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations such as FAA or EASA.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Solidworks.
• Proficiency with Labview.
