About the role
The University of Miami UHealth Department of Radiology is seeking a full‑time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care in Interventional Radiology. The APRN will independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform and document complete physical examinations and comprehensive health histories.
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic and therapeutic tests appropriate to patient age and condition.
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic treatments.
- Implement interventions to maintain or restore physiologic stability.
- Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
- Facilitate patient transitions across care settings, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and make appropriate referrals.
- Provide education and decision‑making support to patients, families, and staff.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in a relevant nursing field.
- Valid State of Florida APRN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, prioritize work under pressure, and communicate effectively in oral and written form.
