Advanced Practice RN – Interventional Radiology (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) provides comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population within Interventional Radiology. Working autonomously and collaboratively, the ARNP conducts examinations, diagnoses conditions, prescribes treatments, and supports patients through recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and document complete physical examinations and comprehensive health histories.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic and therapeutic tests appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic treatment modalities.
• Implement interventions to maintain or restore physiologic stability.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge across multiple UHealth facilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make appropriate referrals.
• Provide education and decision‑making tools to patients, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Florida ARNP license.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize under pressure.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Minimally invasive vascular and non‑vascular procedures.
• Diagnostic test ordering and interpretation.
• Pharmacologic prescribing.
