Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Wound Care Center – Full Time

About the role

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the Wound Care Center provides comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population. Working independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, the APRN ensures accurate diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing disease prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and document complete physical examinations and comprehensive health histories.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic and therapeutic tests appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic treatments and monitor their effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to maintain or restore physiologic stability.
• Facilitate patient transitions across care settings, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and make appropriate referrals.
• Provide education and decision‑making support to patients, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant nursing field.
• Minimum three years of relevant clinical experience.
• Valid State of Florida APRN license (required); Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (preferred).
• Demonstrated learning agility, teamwork, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with office software and relevant computer applications.
