Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

About the role

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) in Interventional Radiology provides comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population across multiple UHealth facilities. Working autonomously and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, the ARNP ensures accurate diagnosis, treatment, and continuity of care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and document complete physical examinations and comprehensive health histories.
• Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic and therapeutic tests appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic treatment modalities.
• Implement interventions to maintain or restore physiologic stability.
• Facilitate patient transitions, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and make appropriate referrals.
• Provide education and decision‑making support to patients, families, and staff.
• Adhere to university, unit, state, and federal policies and safeguard assets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Active Florida ARNP license.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make critical decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
