Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Endocrinology (Full‑Time)

About the role

The University of Miami seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) specialized in endocrinology to provide comprehensive patient care in a full‑time capacity. The APRN will work closely with physicians to assess, diagnose, and manage endocrine disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient interviews, health histories, physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering laboratory tests.
• Initiate and support clinical research protocols, coordinating patient care with research staff.
• Document complete physical examinations, health histories, and follow‑up care in medical records.
• Provide education and decision‑making support to patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and compliance with university, state, and federal regulations.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
• Experience in adult and pediatric endocrinology care.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical judgments.
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
