About the role
The Adult Education SNAP Coordinator and Career Coach will partner with the Department of Human Services to provide job search and placement assistance to SNAP recipients. This role supports participants through assessment, employability planning, and connection to employment resources.
Key responsibilities
- Contact and collaborate with DHS, following all guidelines and policies.
- Provide job search and placement assistance to SNAP participants.
- Receive, track, and manage referrals of program participants.
- Assist in participant assessment, develop employability plans, and coordinate access to employment resources.
- Identify non‑compliant participants and refer them to DHS as needed.
- Monitor and generate monthly reports on client participation hours, component involvement, and job placement activity.
- Enter client participation data into the database promptly and accurately.
- Facilitate career exploration activities for participants.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience with social services preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
