Administrative Specialist II

About the role
The Administrative Specialist II provides essential office support to the Health and Nutrition teams within the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture. This in‑person role ensures smooth daily operations by handling communications, scheduling, record‑keeping, and basic financial transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly.
- Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and arrange conference rooms.
- Maintain and update departmental records and files.
- Process routine financial transactions and assist with budgeting tasks.
- Provide general office support to keep the workplace efficient and organized.
Required profile
- Reliable, regular attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to build and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
