About the role

Platt College Los Angeles seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapy professional to teach in‑person courses on a part‑time adjunct basis. The instructor will create a disciplined classroom environment and ensure students meet program objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction for respiratory therapy courses, aligning with curriculum goals.
• Maintain an organized, disciplined classroom conducive to adult learning.
• Impart practical workplace requirements and professional career path knowledge to students.

Required profile

• Minimum four (4) years of clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• California State Respiratory Care Practitioner license in good standing.
• Valid RRT credential.
• Associate’s degree (for associate‑level instructors) or Bachelor’s degree (for bachelor‑level instructors) in a related field.
