Adjunct Nursing Faculty (Wayland)

About the role

The University of Tulsa seeks an Adjunct Faculty member in Nursing to deliver high‑quality instruction and support student learning within the College of Health and Natural Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses in classroom, laboratory, simulation, online, and clinical settings.
• Prepare and deliver course materials aligned with approved curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, projects, clinical evaluations and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and course records in compliance with university policies.
• Utilize instructional technologies and learning management systems to enhance teaching.
• Participate in program meetings, orientation activities, and faculty development opportunities.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum two years of professional nursing experience.
• Strong communication skills with students, faculty, staff, and community partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with instructional technologies.
• Experience using learning management systems.
