Adjunct Project Manager

About the role

The Adjunct Project Manager supports Project Managers and Technical Services Operations Leadership within Bureau Veritas' Industrial Inspections division in Houston. This role focuses on data collection, coordination, and administrative support to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in gathering and organizing project KPIs, client summaries, and data collection.
• Review reports and client invoices for accuracy, completeness, and required documentation.
• Create and maintain internal and external job assignments using a web‑based project management system.
• Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and calendar events for project teams.
• Source inspection personnel and support travel planning and expense tracking for field staff.
• Facilitate the commercial hand‑off between Business Development, Technical Services, and Accounting to kick‑off new projects.
• Maintain and update operational documents such as project calendars, execution plans, and SharePoint sites.
• Manage stockroom inventory, order supplies, and handle equipment shipment.

Required profile

• College degree (Bachelor’s or Associate) preferred.
• Experience managing and leading people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Formulas.
