Adjunct Math Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Central Georgia Technical College, seeks an Adjunct Math Instructor to deliver associate‑level mathematics courses. The position is primarily online, with occasional day or evening classes and travel within the college’s service area as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials for mathematics courses.
• Employ effective teaching techniques, assess student performance, and maintain accurate grade books and records.
• Participate in professional development, orientation, and training sessions required by the Technical College System of Georgia.
• Mentor and support other adjunct faculty members when serving as lead instructor.
• Complete all required reports, invoices, and inventory documentation in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Under general supervision, able to teach all phases of the mathematics curriculum.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining program standards and accreditation requirements.
• Willingness to travel within the college’s service area and attend on‑site meetings.
