Adjunct Lecturer – Windgate Artist in Residence

About the role
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a Windgate Artist in Residence to serve as an Adjunct Lecturer for the spring 2027 semester. The resident artist will work within the Windgate Center of Art + Design, creating new artwork and engaging with students and the broader campus community.
Key responsibilities
- Produce original artwork in the provided studio space or shared studios.
- Hold weekly open‑studio hours for student interaction.
- Visit student workspaces and provide feedback.
- Participate in in‑class activities organized by faculty.
- Attend welcome and farewell community receptions.
- Donate one artwork to the UA Little Rock Art Collection.
Required profile
- Professional artist with a portfolio of work.
- Willingness to engage with undergraduate and graduate students.
- Ability to commit to the spring 2027 semester.
