Adjunct Instructor – Pharmacy Technology (Part‑Time)

About the role

Atlanta Technical College seeks a passionate part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach Pharmacy Technology. You will deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction that mirrors industry practice, helping students become competent pharmacy technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans, curricula, syllabi, and assessments for credited technical courses.
• Evaluate student progress, maintain documentation, and prepare administrative reports.
• Teach pharmacy assistant courses in classroom, lab, and field settings.
• Participate in professional development, workshops, and conferences to stay current with industry trends.
• Collaborate with students, staff, and faculty on instructional programs, recruitment, retention, and job placement.
• Manage budgetary planning for the program and serve on college committees.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to student success and a genuine passion for teaching.
• Ability to teach mornings and/or afternoons, Monday‑Friday, up to 29 hours per week.
• Works under the general supervision of the Dean of Health & Public Safety.

Required skills

• Pharmacy technology knowledge.
