About the role

Atlanta Technical College seeks a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Dental Hygiene courses on a part‑time basis. The role involves classroom, lab, and clinical instruction for students pursuing dental hygiene credentials.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and deliver curriculum in classroom, dental lab, and clinical settings.
Maintain grade books, records, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
Advise and counsel students, assist with recruitment and job placement.
Participate in meetings, committees, and accreditation reporting.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from a regionally accredited institution.
At least three years of full‑time dental hygiene practice and teaching experience.
Georgia State licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Local Anesthesia certification.

Required skills

Knowledge of current dental hygiene procedures and clinical practices.
Proficiency in using dental lab equipment and clinical tools.
