Adjunct Instructor - Chemistry

About the role

Jefferson Health, based in Philadelphia, is looking for an Adjunct Instructor in Chemistry. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the field, practical experience and a passion for engaging and inspiring students; previous teaching experience is preferred. A pre-employment background check is required.

Key responsibilities

• Teach lecture and/or laboratory sections
• Grade assignments
• Communicate with students and colleagues
• Hold regular office hours

Required profile

• Expertise in chemistry or a related field
• Candidates with a master's or doctoral degree are preferred
• Candidates with a bachelor's degree and laboratory teaching experience will be considered for laboratory positions
• Previous teaching experience is preferred
