Adjunct Faculty – Doctor of Behavioral Health Leadership

About the role

Walden University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty Member to teach doctoral‑level courses in Behavioral Health Leadership. The position supports adult learners in an online‑hybrid environment, contributing to the university’s mission of impact‑driven education.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess graduate‑level coursework in behavioral health leadership.
• Facilitate engaging online and hybrid class sessions, fostering interaction and critical thinking.
• Develop curriculum materials aligned with accreditation standards and industry best practices.
• Provide timely feedback and mentorship to doctoral students.
• Participate in scholarly activities, including research, publication, and professional development.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (PhD, DBA, EdD, or equivalent) in behavioral health, public health, health administration, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in behavioral health leadership and practice.
• Prior experience teaching graduate or doctoral students, preferably in an online or hybrid format.
• Strong communication and academic writing skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of behavioral health systems, policies, and leadership frameworks.
• Curriculum development and instructional design for graduate education.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and virtual classroom tools.
• Ability to assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
