About the role
The Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University seeks an experienced legal professional to join its faculty as an Adjunct Instructor for the Bankruptcy course during the 2026‑2027 academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the Bankruptcy course for the 2026‑2027 academic year (100% teaching load).
- Prepare and deliver lectures covering enforcement of judgments, debtor exemptions, fraudulent conveyances, composition with creditors, bankruptcy case procedures, trustee powers, estate administration, discharge, and wage earners’ plans.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and class participation.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA‑accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials and expertise in bankruptcy law.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
