About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a volunteer faculty member to serve as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor within the NWA | CW GME Mercy Internal Medicine Residency. This position supports clinical education and mentorship of residents at Highlands Oncology.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical teaching and supervision to internal medicine residents.
- Participate in curriculum development and case conferences.
- Mentor trainees in patient care, professionalism, and career development.
- Collaborate with residency leadership and other faculty members.
Required profile
- Must have an approved appointment action in the Joint Faculty Registry (JFR).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 or hold an approved medical or religious exemption.
- Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Affiliation with Highlands Oncology or relevant clinical experience.
