Actuation Engineering Intern

About the role

Moog’s Actuation team within the Military Aircraft Group is looking for a fall‑block intern to join on‑site in Torrance, CA. You will work alongside experienced engineers on the development of new actuation products, components, and assemblies, gaining hands‑on experience in aerospace and mechanical engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to concept and detailed design of actuation systems.
• Assist in proposal design, part selection, and technical report writing.
• Provide technical support to senior engineers as needed.
• Offer input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Collaborate as a multidisciplinary team member and represent Moog professionally.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an accredited Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (or as specified by the department).
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Professional disposition, effective communication, strong desire to learn, positive attitude, and teamwork skills.
