Actuary Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an Actuary Consultant to provide actuarial pricing, reserving, rate management and regulatory filing expertise for U.S. property & casualty insurance clients. The role is fully remote and full‑time, offering the opportunity to lead analyses and mentor junior staff while collaborating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support actuarial pricing models, reserving calculations and rate filings.
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with current guidelines.
• Research, document and report on regulatory requirements and maintain up‑to‑date filing documentation.
• Perform independent actuarial analyses and present findings to stakeholders.
• Create presentations on filing status and act as a subject‑matter expert for actuarial deliverables.
• Mentor junior actuarial staff and, where applicable, manage small teams.

Required profile

• Actuarial professional with credit for at least five actuarial exams.
• Experience serving U.S. P&C insurance clients in pricing, reserving or rate management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with analytics tools and ability to learn new software quickly.
