Actuarial Senior Consultant – Actuarial Analytics

About the role

Zurich North America seeks an Actuarial Senior Consultant to join the Actuarial Analytics team within Finance & Actuarial. Based in Schaumburg, IL, the role offers a hybrid schedule that balances office and remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large claims datasets using statistical techniques and develop advanced predictive models.
• Deliver insights, diagnostics, and tools to support reserving analyses and loss forecasts.
• Collaborate with the reserving transformation team to create AI tools and agents that improve operational efficiency.
• Work with the Data Visualization team to communicate model results to stakeholders.
• Partner with business partners to translate actuarial questions into actionable analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice) with 5+ years of actuarial experience.
• Relevant actuarial certifications (FCAS, ACAS, or equivalent) for qualification track.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, quantitative analysis, and communication of results.
