Acquisitions Associate – Multifamily Investments

About the role

Bluecore Residential is expanding its pipeline of preferred equity investments and acquisitions focused on Class A multifamily assets in the Sunbelt. The Acquisitions Associate will serve as the primary execution lead across acquisitions and preferred equity investments, ensuring all analysis, materials, and workflows are accurate, timely, and decision‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial modeling and underwriting for acquisitions and preferred equity investments, reviewing cash‑flow models, rent and expense assumptions, capital structures, and return metrics.
• Lead the preparation of investment committee memoranda and presentations, translating complex analysis into clear, decision‑ready materials.
• Manage the deal pipeline from initial screening through closing, coordinating with originators, analysts, and third parties to keep timelines on track.
• Directly manage and mentor analysts, assigning workloads, enforcing timelines, and maintaining quality control across all work products.
• Conduct ad‑hoc deep‑dive analyses on markets, sub‑markets, supply‑demand dynamics, portfolio performance, and capital‑structure strategies.
• Support all phases of transaction execution, including due‑diligence coordination, lender and partner interactions, and closing processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to produce decision‑ready investment materials.
• Experience managing analysts and ensuring high‑quality underwriting work.
• Comfort working in a fast‑growing, high‑volume investment platform.
