Acquisitions Analyst – Multifamily Real Estate

About the role

Bluecore Residential is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to support its multifamily investment team in Newport Beach, CA. You will work on a high volume of multifamily acquisitions and preferred‑equity investments, moving deals from underwriting through closing.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess all underwriting materials for prospective acquisitions.
• Analyze income and expense statements to evaluate financial performance.
• Conduct market studies and prepare valuation reports.
• Maintain a detailed investment pipeline and communicate updates to senior management.
• Create executive summaries and investment memorandums for each deal.
• Collaborate with the closing team to complete checklist items and ensure smooth transaction execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in multifamily real‑estate finance.
• At least one year of underwriting experience for multifamily acquisitions.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Advanced computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
