Accreditation Solutions Consultant, Clinical Strategy (6-Month Contract)

About the role

Lyra Health's Clinical Strategy team is seeking a Senior Operations Lead for a 6-month contract focused on driving Joint Commission (TJC) Behavioral Health Care and Human Services (BHC) accreditation readiness. The role bridges clinical strategy, regulatory execution and cross-functional project management, acting as the primary project lead between Clinical Strategy, Clinical Operations and other teams. Familiarity with Joint Commission standards is preferred, but the main requirement is an operational lead who can quickly learn TJC requirements and drive execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own the master Project Work Plan for TJC Behavioral Health and Telehealth accreditation readiness, setting workstream milestones across clinical and operational teams
• Identify gaps, compliance risks and cross-functional dependencies, update the roadmap and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Partner with workstream leads to develop supporting materials and process documentation for specific TJC standards
• Organize and project manage internal mock audits, tracer activities and readiness drills
• Set up communication cadences (working groups, asynchronous updates, dashboards) and deliver data-driven written updates to senior leadership

Required profile

• 10+ years of healthcare project management, healthcare operations or management consulting experience, preferably in high-growth health tech or clinical environments
• Track record of leading complex regulatory, compliance or accreditation readiness initiatives from gap analysis through execution
• Ability to influence cross-functional peers and senior leadership without direct authority
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to turn complex clinical insights and regulations into executive summaries
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and creates structure out of ambiguity
• Deep passion for expanding access to evidence-based mental health care

Preferred: direct experience or familiarity with accreditation processes such as The Joint Commission, CARF or NCQA, within behavioral health or telehealth.
